Versace

The Italian fashion house Versace was founded in 1978 when their first line of women’s wear became a fact. The company’s founder, the late Gianni Versace, is a world famous Italian designer, highly appreciated by the fashion experts for his exquisite designs, inspired by diverse styles ranging from contemporary pop art to classical architecture.

The success of the brand attracts many celebrities who are not only fans of Versace, but have also been used as the face of the brand throughout the years. Famous signers, actors, and supermodels are often used in Versace’s advertising campaigns – people like Elton John, Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears and Halle Berry have successfully contributed to the brand’s worldwide recognition.

Today Versace is known for its men and women’s clothes, accessories, home furnishings, cosmetics, and perfumes. There is even a hotel run by the company – the famous Palazzo Versace.

The first Versace perfume, Gianni Versace for Women, was launched in 1981. Ever since its launch the company has designed tens of successful perfumes created with the help of top perfumers like Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp, Sophie Labbe, Francis Kurkdjian, Firmenich, Mark Buxton, IFF, Bernard Ellena, Antoine Maisondieu and many others.
