Lattafa
Lattafa is
a perfume brand established in 2012 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, by Sheikh
Shahid Ahmad. The name Lattafa derives from the Arabic language, meaning
gentleness, elegance, and finesse—qualities the brand aims to embody in every
fragrance it creates. From the beginning, Lattafa has had a clear mission: to
offer luxurious scents at accessible prices, blending the richness of Arabic
perfumery traditions with contemporary Western influences.
The brand
quickly gained recognition in the market with a wide range of fragrances,
ranging from deep oriental
compositions featuring oud, amber, and spices, to lighter and more versatile
scents built around fruity, floral, and gourmand accords. Over time, Lattafa
expanded its portfolio with several distinct lines, including Lattafa Pride, a
premium collection known for its refined designs and complex compositions, as
well as Asdaaf and Rave, sub-brands catering to specific olfactory preferences
and audiences.
Lattafa has earned international acclaim for its fragrances, which are often compared to niche and designer perfumes but offered at significantly more affordable prices. Notable examples include Khamrah, frequently likened to Angels’ Share by Kilian; Yara, a popular gourmand scent with coconut and vanilla; and Oud for Glory, considered an alternative to Oud for Greatness by Initio.
The brand
places strong emphasis not only on captivating compositions but also on
stunning presentation—stylish bottles and packaging that evoke a sense of
luxury. Thanks to its high quality, lasting performance, and original
interpretations of both modern and classic themes, Lattafa has positioned
itself as a leading force in both Arabic and global perfumery. Today, it is a
favorite among lovers of oriental fragrances as well as those seeking something
unique, memorable, and elegant—without having to compromise on their budget.
