S.T. Dupont

The French company S.T. Dupont was founded in 1872 by Simon Tissot-Dupont. The brand entered the business world offering luxurious items like leather wallets, suitcases, and travel accessories that complemented their customers who enjoyed travelling with style.

Later on, in 1929, they opened a hotel which was intended for their clients, adding a new perspective to the travelling experience at the time. A few years later they entered the American market, which was a great success for the company. It was not until the World War II, however, when they decided to embark on a new undertaking, namely the production of a pocket gas lighter – an item that is still a best-seller today.

Today the brand, boasting about designing exclusive luggage for Queen Elizabeth of England, offers luxurious accessories like pens, lighters, watches, leather goods, and perfumes. Their first fragrances, S.T. Dupont pour Homme and pour Femme, were launched in 1998. Relatively new to the perfume industry, S.T. Dupont have managed to establish their place as a high quality perfume house working with some of the top perfumers in the world.
