Paco Rabanne

The French fashion house Paco Rabanne was founded in 1966. The person behind the brand is the Spanish-born designer Paco Rabanne who grew up in Paris. Even though he is an architect by education, he entered the fashion world designing jewelry for other fashion houses before he started designing clothing (introducing innovative clothing materials like metal and paper).

The first perfume created by Paco Rabanne, Calandre, was launched in 1969. It was an immediate success and led to the launching of several other fragrances (both for men and for women). Today the company produces and sells its fashions and perfumes in collaboration with Puig.

With tens of successful perfumes in its range, Paco Rabanne nowadays works with world-famous perfumers like Olivier Cresp, Emilie (Bevierre) Coppermann, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion, Jacques Cavallier and many others who help him with the creation of his exquisite fragrances.
