Masaki Matsushima

Masaki Matsushima is a world famous Japanese designer that was born in 1963. His talent was discovered at an early stage and he graduated the Bunka Fashion College, which is one of the most prominent fashion colleges across Japan (and in the world). One of his mentors, the famous designer Issey Miyake, left his creative imprint on the young designer who uses traditional Japanese symbols and styles and skillfully incorporates them into the contemporary fashion pieces he creates.

His first fashion collection became a reality back in 1992 and was an immediate success. Almost 10 years later, in 2000, he felt confident enough to enter the world of fragrances and his first perfume collection was launched in 2001.

Today the label Masaki Matsushima is famous for its men’s and women’s clothes, eyewear, and perfumes. His first perfume series, called “mat;” includes several highly popular fragrances. He continues to amaze his fans with top quality fragrances year by year, developed with the help of the mastery of the famous perfumer Jean Jacques.
