Loewe

Owned by the famous fashion giant LVMH Group, the Spanish luxury brand Loewe was founded in Madrid back in 1846 as a cooperative of leather craftsmen. A few years later the company was consolidated by the German entrepreneur Enrique Loewe Roessberg. The company gained popularity in the rest of the 19th century and saw a rapid growth in the second half of the 20th century with store openings in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London in the 70s and 80s of the last century.

Its famous logo, consisting of 4 intertwines Ls was created in 1970 by the famous artist Vicente Vela. The “anagram” as they call it is an abstract symbol that’s been stamped on all Loewe products ever since its creation.

The first fragrance created for the brand Loewe was L de Loewe for women (launched in 1972). Two years later, the first men fragrance was launched (Loewe Loewe for men). Today, Loewe’s portfolio includes high-quality luxurious fashion items like women’s and men’s clothes, gifts, bags and small leather goods, accessories, shoes, jewellery, sunglasses, perfumes, etc.
