Lacoste

The French fashion brand Lacoste is famous for its sports fashion (especially its tennis wear), footwear, watches, sunglasses, accessories, and perfumes. It was founded in 1933 and has been proudly carrying the famous green crocodile logo through its past and into its present success.

The most famous item by Lacoste is the emblematic for the 1980’s white tennis shirt that is still a bestseller today. It is approved by many famous tennis players (including Andy Roddick).

The first Lacoste perfume, Lacoste for Men, was launched in 1984. The brand has launched numerous perfumes ever since (many of which incorporate the sports theme and the company’s logo). Today Lacoste perfumes are sold in collaboration with Procter & Gamble. The perfumers behind Lacoste’s successful perfumes are Olivier Cresp, Laurent Bruyere, Jean-Michel Duriez, Claude Dir, Annick Menardo and Domitille Michalon.
