Gianfranco Ferre
Gianfranco Ferre is a world famous Italian designer that has earned the nickname “the Architect of Fashion”. He may have a degree in architecture, but his work in the fashion industry is extremely notable. He worked as a Stylistic Director of Christian Dior from 1989 until 1997, when he started an exclusive fashion line under his own name.
The Italian developed a fragrances brand, too, called Gianfranco Ferré Fragrances. His first perfume – Gianfranco Ferre for Women, was launched in 1984. Today, the Gianfranco Ferré aromas are produced by ITF Cosmetics, which hold the fragrance license. Many of the top perfumers work with the brand: Mark Buxton, Pierre Bourdon, Alexandra Jouet, Francis Kurkdjian, Karine Dubreuil, Maurice Roucel, Jean-Charles Niel, Michele Saramito, Olivier Polge and Alienor Massenet.
