Escentric Molecules
Escentric Molecules is a fascinating and innovative fashion house that becomes famous for using mostly synthetic ingredients for the creation of its perfumes. The designer Geza Schoen founded the company in 2006 in London. Geza is called a "rebel" in the perfume industry because he breaks the pattern and begins to create "atypical" scents. On the road to success, he faced a lot of criticism but for him, the triumph is always outside the comfort zone, and he dived into the unknown.
The existence of Escentric Molecules due to a synthetic note that can’t be found in nature. Its name is Iso E Super and was created in the IFF lab in 1973. The note wasn’t very popular, but when Geza Schoen smells it for the first time, he fell in love with it and felt a desire to reveal its beauty to the world. He describes the note as incredible, atypical and addictive.
Geza began to experiment with the note, incorporating it into different compositions, but one evening was different. He was just about to go out with a friend when he decided to appear with the pure scent of the molecule as a joke. The results were instant and unexpected. Soon after entering the bar, a woman came to him and told him that she felt attracted to his perfume and wanted to know his name. A few days later, Schoen created two fragrances with over 65% substance of Iso E Super. These are the first perfumes with such a high concentration of the molecule because the natural notes easily dominated it and so far has been used only as a secondary scent, supplementing the main. The designer suggested that only eccentrics, rebels, and outsiders would use these perfumes, but he was wrong. They were accepted as a phenomenon and opened a new page in the history of the perfume industry. Since then, Escentric Molecules has created unique fragrances and enjoys tremendous success.
