Sergio Tacchini

Sergio Tacchini is a professional Italian tennis player. He entered the world of professional tennis at the early age of 17 and has had numerous victories during his active sports career.

The company he founded while still an active player in 1966, Sandys S.p.A., was renamed a few years later to the today’s popular brand name Sergio Tacchini after his retirement. At the time of its establishment the brand offered fashionable sportswear (mainly tennis outfits), but the company’s products range was soon expanded by offering fashion decisions for professional sportsmen like golfers, skiers, and sailors, as well as for people who simply enjoy working out.

The first Sergio Tacchini fragrance, Sergio Tacchini Homme, was launched in 1987. The brand’s first women fragrance, Sergio Tacchini Donna, is still among the company’s bestsellers today.

In 2008 the brand was bought by an Asian businessman, Billy Ngok, who expanded the label worldwide. With more than 100 outlets, Sergio Tacchini is among the most recognizable sports brands in the world today.
