Guy Laroche
Guy Laroche is a French fashion brand founded in 1957. The company is named after its founder, Guy Laroche – a fashion designer whose first contact with fashion was hat-making, but, after studying manufacturing methods, he gained confidence and launched his own label.
The bright colors and the practical lines of the clothes he started designing made his label an immediate success (especially on the American market). He first started with women’s fashion, and, almost 10 years after the brand’s launching, he began offering men’s fashion as well.
The first perfume by Guy Laroche was Fidji for women, launched in 1966. Today, the company offers a wide variety of perfumes in collaboration with the cosmetics giant L'Oreal. The noses behind Guy Laroche’s perfumes are Daniel Moliere, Michel Girard, Pierre Wargnye, Josephine Catapano and Alain Astori.
