Bvlgari is an Italian luxury goods house founded by Sotirios Voulgaris. He was originally from Greece and he started the Bvlgari company in 1884. The Bulgaris descend from an ancient family of Greek silversmiths whose activity began in the small village of Epirus, where Sotirio, the head of the family, made precious objects in silver.

Initially famed for its magnificent jewelry, the brand has expanded its offerings to include watches, accessories, handbags, and fragrances. The first fragrance offered by the brand was Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert in 1992.

The perfume collection of Bvlgari has 79 fragrances (2017). The earliest edition was created in 1992 and the newest is from 2017. Bvlgari’s fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Jacques Cavallier, Annick Menardo, Alberto Morillas, Jean-Claude Ellena, Sophia Grojsman, Beatrice Piquet, Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim, Sophie Labbe, Daniela (Roche) Andrier and Nathalie Lorson.
